Bio: Hey, I’m Caroline (She/her) 😊 I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in Falkirk, Forth Valley, Scotland.

I have been supporting mums/parents since 2012 when I first trained as Peer Supporter after I had my little girl, I then went on to become a BF Counsellor. I support families in a variety of ways – via the national breastfeeding helpline, running my local breast/chestfeeding support group, volunteering on my local hospital maternity wards (outside pandemic times!) and provide local telephone/video/online support. I am qualified in baby massage and Mindful Breastfeeding. I have also enjoyed taking courses in infant sleep, infant microbiome, babywearing and attachment over the years.

I have 2 kids – a boy & a girl and am married to a wonderful and supportive guy. Prior to becoming a mum, I worked within the Science sector and I have BSc Zoology and MSc within the Marine Biology field. I am passionate about inclusion and my most defining feature is – I am a bit of geek! (I had a Star Wars themed wedding at Edinburgh zoo so yes, I really am a geek!).

I love supporting mums and parents in their own personal journey’s, I feel privileged to do so and am always amazed at the strength and passion of the parents I support. It all started with the difficulties I had with my first and so can relate to just how important breastfeeding can be to some mums. My only wish is for every mum and parent to be supported in their personal goals and to feel at peace with their journey. ❤️
